The Mission

The mission of CharityRox is to support local and national charities 
through financial contributions. CharityRox will identify organizations, 
both public and private, that are in need of financial support, 
and through musical concerts, raise money to 
assist them in meeting their financial goals. 

CharityRox will assist not only recognized charities, 
but may also assist people who are victims of natural disasters, 
economic peril or any other misfortune in which the contributions 
will significantly improve their ability to live a meaningful life.

ABOUT CharityRox

In the 1980’s and 1990’s many musicians banded together 
to raise money for different reasons. The most memorable events 
were Farm Aid and We Are The World. 
These events were successful, but they were dedicated
to only one cause.  Farm Aid is the only event that continues, 
and only on an annual basis.

In 2003, Kent Steel, 
and Mike Phillips,  founded CharityRox. 
CharityRox is a non-profit organization that produces 
multi-act  concerts to raise money for charities and other needs. 
ALL of the profits from the concerts are given to the designated 
charity or group to help them meet their financial obligations 
and to continue to meet and exceed their goals. 
 

Through the assistance and support of Bob McIntosh 
and the McIntosh Law Firm, CharityRox became a reality 
in October 2003. Bob continues to be a great friend  &
sponsor of CharityRox.
We also have great support from 
Mooresville/South Iredell Chamber of commerce
and Mooresville Parks & Recreations
 

L&N Sound is another corporate friend who will provide 
state of the art staging, lighting and sound for the concerts.
 

KENT STEEL &  The Xtensions
along with other nationally known bands 
provide a unique night of music and entertainment.
Depending on the size and Budget of each event Planned, 
and the availability of Each Entertainer working with us,
The Line ups may be structured in different combinations.

CharityRox is committed to making the concert a success 
and works closely with the charity in all phases of production. 
The most important aspect of the show is to help the 
charity reach their financial goal.
